Useful and Interesting Information About Chakras – 2

This is the second part related to what I learned about chakras by following Carmen Ng’s ten-day course on Insight Timer. For information about Carmen Ng and the first three chakras, please visit Useful and Interesting Information About Chakras -1. Or even better, please try Carmen Ng’s course on Chakra Balancing for Healing and Empowerment on Insight Timer.

4th Chakra: Heart Chakra

Heart Chakra is located at the center of our chest. This chakra connects three lower and three upper chakras. Its color is green, and its seed mantra is “YAM”. It is related to heart, lungs, hands, arms, circulation, breasts and upper back.

Yin nature: Desire to feel loved. Yang nature: To express love unconditionally.

Imbalances in the heart chakra may affect your posture by giving you rounded shoulders and poor posture. It may also be related to diseases of the heart.

Becoming thankful for everything everyday and following the below affirmation may help:

I open my heart chakra today.

5th Chakra: Throat Chakra

Throat chakra is located in the neck area. Its color is blue, and its seed mantra is “HAM”. Throat chakra is related to the thyroid gland, and it is associated with expressing ourselves.

Yin nature: Desire to feel connected. Yang nature: To seek to communicate

Imbalances in the throat chakra may cause sore throat, ear infections, or skin irritation.

Repeating the following affirmations may help:

I know and speak my truth. I am accountable for expressing myself clearly. Being honest will free me from my current situation.

6th Chakra: Third Eye

Third Eye chakra is located between the eyebrows. Its color is indigo, and its seed mantra is “OM”.

Yin nature: Desire to see. Yang nature: To gain peace of mind

When third eye chakra is not balanced, lack of concentration, overanalyzing things, or stubbornness may arise. A balanced third eye chakra helps us with clear thoughts and see events as lessons to be learned.

Repeating the following affirmations may help:

I recognize wisdom comes from within. I am open to inner guidance. It’s safe for me to see the truth. My mind and heart are in perfect balance.

Repeating the following affirmations may help:

I’m part of the divine. I seek experiences that nourish my spirit. I’m connected with the wisdom of the universe.
