Most of the knowledge you need about life are hidden in the books. Books contain a lot of information about life, love, success, and personal development. But it is hard to find the time to read, isn’t it? We have a lot of obligations in our daily lives. Our obligations at work as well as our obligations towards our families occupy a huge chunk of our daily lives.
Nowadays we even have to spend our precious time doing the jobs of others. Back in the day, if you wanted to book a vacation home or hotel, for example, you would call the relevant person, and they would do all the reservations for you. We don’t realize it but every time we do reservations online etc, when we insert our names, phone numbers, addresses, and payment information, we are doing other people’s jobs too. And that takes time as well.
So how can we dedicate more time to reading? Well, we are living in lucky times; technology comes to our rescue again. There is an app called the Blinkist, which provides summaries of non-fiction books. So reading an entire book summary takes only twenty to thirty minutes. It’s the easiest way to read a book a day, in a way. If you like the summary, you can always buy the actual book and read every page in-depth, it’s up to you. If you haven’t tried the app already, I suggest you give it a try. I found out about this app only in 2020, and so far I’ve managed to finish 90 summaries.
Which other similar apps would you suggest? Please feel free to share in the comments below.
